Safe drinking water is so easily taken for granted. It entails more than just adding chlorine. Just this week Tokoyo had radiation levels in the drinking water that was unsafe for children to drink it.
I am also grateful that I can turn a valve and have a tub full of steaming HOT water. When my father was a child they had to draw and then boil the water. The whole family shared that one tubful of warm water.
Sometimes we forget the blessings that are around us every day, clean, safe water is one of them.
